best stash bag?
I saw a stash bag that turns into a fanny pack.... Oh god I can't believe I'm asking for a fanny pack stash bag.

Does anyone know were to get one? I'm sick of having to find a place to jam my bag before I jump.

Re: [madprops] best stash bag?
Nick Burden of Blacksheep Rigging makes the fanny pack stash bags.
He calls them "The backcountry stashbag".

That's pretty slick.

Pete S. has been making them off and on for at least a dozen years. Dunno if he still makes them. I like mine.

"Blends in as a traditional day pack for national park missions, and ideal for urban jumps as well." careful, they know!

Two hundred dollars for a stash bag + s/h! Crazy

You can get a GoLite 70L Jam pack for less than that.

Is that custom? Does it fold into a fanny pack?

$50 extra isn't bad seeing that nick hand makes each one and doesn't have a bunch of children in a sweat shop somewhere in china making his gear for him ;p

I still have one I bought from Pete about 15 years ago. Works great as a "stealth" pack.

Who do you think you are?! Lobbying to take jobs away from CHILDREN? You're a monster! It's bad enough they hardly get paid, and have to work in such poor conditions. But now you want to cause lay-offs and even more poverty? You should be ashamed.

It carries gear nicely and blends well with other outdoorsy types in non-permissive areas. They're usually on sale so $100 is doable, although it is a shitty fanny pack.

I have a pilot chute you may be interested in... it's gluten free -of course, designed and tested in a recycled washer/dryer combo, and custom made by "overpaid" McDonald's workers making minimum wage.
