Hey guys! Im justin, first post here saying hi! Im pulling some strings to take toms course for christmas and got to wondering why idaho is the only place for a year round legal bridge jump?

Are there any forgiving bridges in the southeastern region we maybe able to get permission from the city or state? Im horrible with politics and dont have a clue who id talk to.

Would this even be even smart for the sport? I do like the idea of learning from a well experienced jumper that is well experienced in teaching newbies that has taken the time to put a formal course together.

Being in southern louisiana it would be nice to just drive a few hours away and stay somewhat current. Dont know how involved ill get into base but would like to have a safe spot to chill at.

Eta. You dont have to post specific locations. Im not trying to burn anything.

I hope one day you become one bad ass base jumper with many many jumps and look back at this post.

Not to be an ass, I myself had high dreams of jumping the free structures of the world trading beads and good vibes for pilot chutes.

Don't worry bro, once the idealism wears off and you see reality of the situation there is still a lot of fun to be had, just not the kind where you jump your favorite local bridge with a police escort to exit after fucking the mayors wife cause "BASE is not a crime man".
