So the bar tacker fell over in the back of the van onto my stash bag and the oil reservoir from under the table leaked on to the stash bag, a small amount of the oil seeped onto the canopy, I dabbed it up with some to and got most of it off and clean immediately, anyone know the effects of sewing machine oil on f-111? Over time, I'm furious at the bar tack not only is it out of time, I'm unable to find someone in Utah to fix it and now it soiled my base gear

Abbie and I hauled a machine from Twin Falls to Salt Lake City. After we got it there they said they couldn't fix it. This doesn't answer your oil on canopy question but at least you know beforehand that no one in Utah can fix your bartacker.

If sewing machine oil hurt nylon every canopy and every container would have fallen apart at the seams years ago.

Yeah that was my assumption but thought I'd better consult the wider wisdom of the conglomerate instead of trusting my lacsidasicle attitude, so know I can't get this thing serviced without hauling it over the continental divide, anyone have advice on how to time/service a singer 269w108

Wow that is a nasty response. i got grease stains on my canopy from a bandit jump at NRGB. do you think it is ok to jump it? harden the fark up.
