The actual person that scaled the top, painted the star and mounted the flag, is indeed, Ukrainian.

The 4 basejumpers, 2 girls and 2 guys, had pretty much nothing to do with the act. They just jumped, from a different, lowish part of the building.

Funny part, is that police have complete video of how they entered, got to the side roof, and jumped. No paint anywhere.

But russian authorities don't give a fuck. The jumpers were arrested, mainly because they didn't bother getting away quickly. And they gave the propaganda a perfect crime placement.

Why catch a criminal whtn you have 4 that you can make a criminal?

I personally know all the jumpers, and the last fucking thing that they care about is politics. They were there for the jump. Cuz the building canopy proxy flight there is SWEET. Plus the whole legendary B with the star thing.

But russian court system uses them to set an example: everyone who speaks against war in Ukraine goes to jail.

They face up to 7 years in prison.

The russian and ukrainian base community pulled all the strings we had, and their pre-court stay in jail was changed to home arrest(sort of like bail).

To sum it up, this is that anecdote shit, wrong place wrong time.

They still face a sentence.

More than that, this "ukranian person" appeared and claimed the deed. Of course, from distance, sitting back at home, says he will also share the video and photo of all this thing being done.

The funny part, for government - it might not work, just because the dude is far away and they can't get him, and they need to continue with this public thing and put someone in jail, make an example.

I too personaly know three of them, we jumped together, they are great, safe and positive jumpers and my friends, and I confirm that don't give a shit about politics. Hate the situation.

Russian gestapo police changed the charge from hooliganism to "provoking inter-racial hate", so the max sentence is now 15 years.
The guy who actually did it posted a confession on FB, and provided photos as proof.
He also has videos, a bargain chip.
The guy also made an offer to go to russia and face charges in an exchange for release of a Ukrainian POW, Natalie Savchenko. She was a survivor of a downed heli, got captured, tortured, and sent to russia as a political leverage.

That's some crazy stuff going on over there!
