Buy a few packages of SUGRU, and do it in 5 mins to your own wishes.

My friend "Marmaduke" super-glued the
door of a gopro box to front of helmet.
Was simple, cheap, and worked well
enough for him to use on AFF jumps.

Half a stubby (can) cooler works well, and doubles as a protector for the lens when detached.
