Does anybody know if he is the same Russian guy who was doing a lot of tracking in July last year?

'Low experience' means different things to different people.

What do you mean by "low experience"? Are you saying that the jumper had inadequate experience and shouldn't have been jumping, or just that he was a reasonably well prepared beginner who had an accident?

Are there many other cliff strikes from other nationalities that we don't hear about or is it almost always Russians?

Re: [shveddy] Heli rescue @ ITW - 27th(?) July
150 skydives, 20 of them in his brand new sumo tracksuit.
He did about 11 of his first basejumps from craotian bridge, 2 more from another and about 9 from brento, all in sumo. All 9 were a poor unstable track. On the incident jump he was doing a 2 way, and the other guy did some nice flips which added to the distraction, so he pulled very close to the wall, 180 with a lot of linetwists. Thats pretty much it. I think the lesson is pretty obvious:
For fucks sake, learn to track.
Not so obvious:
Large tracksuit ain't a small one, do your skydives and get comfortable in it.

Good point. A certain well-known mongoloid recently made the same point here.

There was also another Russian Heli rescue the week prior to this one.

NOT directed at you unclecharlie95. Maybe applicable to ask how he is and if he has any insurance or medical cover etc., rather than preaching from orange boxes, bragging and trying to inflate your own egos concerning his experience level.
Many very experienced jumpers have made mistakes.

Not the same place, not even the same countryWink

We have something like that almost on a weekly base, but only the fatalities make it to the forums...
