Wingsuit Jumpers Needed for PR Stunt
Hi guys. I head the marketing for a real estate brokerage. We're looking for wingsuit jumpers in the U.S. for a promotional event. I can explain more in an email or on a call. If you live in the U.S. and are a wingsuit jumper and wanted to get famous for a crazy event, email me. Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks for the responses. I've found a few cool people to work with already! You guys are awesome. (I did try Googling groups to outreach to, but they were all overseas.) Anyways, this worked out way better. I can't really talk about what we're doing, and the payment is a case-by-case basis.

For now, we have enough feedback, but I'll come back and pick your brains again. Again, thanks! And if any of you are in Indiana, let me know. Perhaps I can pay for a an extra jump for you if you let me tandem on one

My guess would be not much considering he's crowdsourcing on a public forum instead of using Google to find and hire professionals.

It's a case by case basis. I got a few responses so far. And yes, I did Google the hell out of it and the only people I found were overseas.

Payment on a case by case basis? Sounds top notch. Good luck.

I charge $13,950,000.00 per jump...or, we can do a trade out for http://www.movoto.com/napa-ca/101_21213051/. I am negotiable though Tongue

Actually quite normal for commercial work.
Ive been on a several shoots where some people (based on skill, or their risk/role in the shoot) got day-rates if up to $4000, where other participants got payd only $200 a day or even just expenses. Even for the same jump/job, sometimes two guys can negotiate different prices. But thats between the company and who offer themselves up for work.

I have no clue how serious, professional, cheap or well payd these guys are. But their request and what they offer information-wise is quite normal..

Yes. I work in the media industry and understand that. The fact that he claims he can't find anyone US based (when theres plenty of US based demo teams out there), does PR work with a company that involves seemingly big money sales, and is presenting his request as a way to "get famous" tells me he's just fishing for those who don't want to charge much/anything. You get what you pay for and I meant no ill-will with my good luck comment. The top notch part was seeped in sarcasm though. Wink

Steeped old boy, steeped. Means soaked (more or less).

Sarcasm could be seeping from a comment (though oozing would probably be more common) but it can't be seeped in sarcasm.
