Steve Morrell tapes earnings
I want to thank members of this forum for supporting the Steve Morrell Memorial Tapes YouTube channel. We finally reached the first paypoint, and a check for 104.70 is on its way to the fund. I know it is not a lot, but the symbolism of a life lived well enough that 18 years after you are gone, people remember you, and think enough of what you did that you can earn money for your own memorial fund is really quite encouraging to me and the rest of the family. On a side note, for the life of me I cannot figure out how the double cutaway video went so viral. It is approaching 32,000 views as i type this, ah the mysterious ways of the internet.
I will continue posting snippets as i finish off the tapes that i have using the same thread as usual, but i wanted to step out of the thread to send this note of thanks. I believe that there may be some more tapes in the piles of stuff we found moving our mother, though at least one of them is not base jumping but Hurricane Hugo. Thanks again to Walt and others for their help and advice. Thanks for all of you who viewed, sat through ads and subscribed.
