So let me first off say that this trip is not as difficult as everybody makes it out to be. Most of the true locals and boat companies know what is going out with BASE jumping in the Shipwreck. Specifically, Porto Vremi is who I dealt with. They are the closest and maybe easiest place to get to and from the exit for Navagio as well. I arrived from Milan directly to Z-thos. I had no hotel reservations or any idea where I was going to stay. My non jumper friend was with me and we are young and looking to party… so what the hell. We stayed in Laganas and let me tell you… Laganas… holy fucking shit. If you like 17 to 19 year old girls… this is the place to go, hahaha. It is mostly a British tourist town, but we met most nationalities from other Euro nations. The worker population is mostly Serbian, I think. Big fan of them, awesome people. Anyway, if you are looking to party to 9 A.M. every morning… stay here. If you want to get shit housed, stay here. It is a good time. I would recommend making hotel reservations and looking at reviews of each place. The hotel make look nice on the outside but be a total shit hole on the inside. Our two room hotel consisted of a hotel room with a sliding wooden door in the middle. Also, check out Cubaneros on the beach just off the main strip. Pretty chill place after the sun goes down. Tell Mavra… Dave the BASE jumper says hello. And say hello to Natalia for me, she's the head waiter girl. Good people. Highly Recommended. Also, be prepared to get hustled in Laganas, for sure. Until you meet the locals and build some rapport with them. My breakfast on first day cost 8 euros and by the last day it was 2 euros because I wasn't a retard tourist. I actually gave a shit to talk to the guy every morning and show him my videos and rig.
On to the logistics. Rent a JEEP or Jimney or whatever the hell they call it. If you plan on going anywhere besides the nearest town to Navagio… get a jeep. The roads suck and I almost power slides into a couple trees, hahaha. Good times. Go to Porto Vremi, talk to Anastasia. Here is their phone number.

I think you need to dial 00 first or something. I don’t know. Figure it out. Anastasia knows the deal. She quoted me 70 euro for a private pick up from Navagio whenever I wanted. Or I could get a free ride whenever one of their boats showed up from a tour. The free ride on the tour would add about another 45 minutes to your trip. They also arranged for a “taxi” to give me a ride back to my car at the Navagio Exit point for 30 euros. Anastasia knows whats up and that whole crew is super helpful. They will pretty much help you out with anything you need. I would just call her at the exit and tell her the winds were good and they would send the boat to come get me. Pretty sweet deal. So you are looking at 100 euro round trip per jump IF you’re by yourself. NBD. End of logistics nightmare. Also, take a tarp to pack on.
The exit is very easy to find. Go to the left past the look out and walk down about 300 m till you see a path(ish) on the right. Follow it down. The exit is not flat like it looks like in the videos. You’ll see a little toy church memorial thingy there and some bolts in the rock. Jump and enjoy :)
SAAAAYYYINGGGGG that, I only got one jump in. If the winds are bad, the waves are bad and the Greek port authority won’t let ships land on the beach. Story of my freaking trip. So we just ended up huffing nitrous, smoking our faces off, and getting blasted drunk for 5 days on the island. STILL A FUCKING HOOT. Highly recommended. Will go back for sure. Don’t be stupid about the winds there. If you get hurt.. probably ain’t nobody coming for you. It’s an island in Greece… not Lauterbrunnen. Might be smart to jump with a CAT or SOF-T tourniquet in your pocket.
I think there are direct flights out of Zurich and Milan. Stop off in the Valley or Brento for a bit and then pop down to Zakynthos for a jump and some beers. And remember, we want to keep this place open to us. Don’t be a douche!
