I'd like to hear the story on that one, I imagine it went something like "okay good luck with that, see ya!" haha

That was crazy to watch live. Dude runs up on the ramp with no hesitation and hucks before anybody can do a thing. I recall a sweet swoop and foot drag through the water.

I have it on the computer in my classroom. But I think it's edited in the Bridge Day videos, and you can buy it from Jason Bell's web site.

Jason B might have captured the second time I jumped the 74 there without the twists in 2002... I believe Martini shots did it that year as Jason was moving to to running BD. In 2000 I cant recall who was filming (Whitewater rafting?) Avery was in charge I believe. Regardless it was agreed upon within the community that this was not the way for the sport to evolve. Cool or not most followers would be sure to get hurt as margins were smaller. Who else jumps 2.6 wingloading off fixed objects without packing the canopy in a rig...lol
If anyone has old footage I would like to see... There were many cameras at the exit point...

BTW Exit staff did know what I was doing:)

No one has evolved this in more then a decade...hmmm

My young friend in this sport I see... Darwin takes out many for one reason or another... No il meant but best of luck in this sport without margins to spare at times. Many words can be associated with this sport for sure and retarded is not one. You cant take life with you in the end so why not live it and slide in a little banged up smilingfrom ear to ear. Any day that one jumps an Icarus in a WAD format and pulls it off is a good day! LOL
