Practice Jump Session: Thursday 18th September - Morning
Jumping Days: Friday 19th September to Sunday 21st September - 3 Days
Night Jumps: Friday 19th September and Saturday 20th September - 2 Nights

KL Tower Jump 2014
Building Name: KL Tower
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Jump Height: 300 meters (984 feet)
Compulsory BASE Jumpers Briefing: Thursday, 25th September
Jumping Days: Friday 26th September to Monday 29th September - 4 Days
Night Jumps: Friday 26th September to Sunday 28th September - 3 Nights

Experience Requirements:
We are looking for experienced BASE jumpers BASE jumpers that have consistently demonstrated good judgement with a sensible and cautious approach towards BASE jumping. Applicants will only be considered once they have completed at least 120 BASE jumps, have made at least 20 BASE jumps within the previous 12 months, and have been actively BASE jumping for at least 2 years.

Any USA jumpers attending this have any luck finding travel health insurance that covers BASE?

I paid 132 dollars for 3 weeks coverage

not the best coverage but it does cover base.

Also, if you are covered by an insurance HMO, call the health plan, and discuss that you are going out of country and want to understand your health care coverage. Almost all will cover acute emergency care. Any call to the HMO must be documented by the person that spoke with you. Keep your question general, and if you are told emergent care is covered, then they must cover it if that is what you were told.

I have both. the world nomad coverage, and a recorded phone call to my HMO with them saying ANY care in an ER that was deemed urgent will be 100% covered. nonurgent care that did not need ER eval may/may not be covered- based on medical review afterwards.

I have made a BASE jumping claim outside the USA with World Nomads this year.

They guaranteed payment and my surgery was completed with no out of pocket cost for the surgery and hospital stay. I did have to pay for the initial diagnosis, but should be receiving this ($500) back.

I just checked the worlds nomad website and found this "Base jumping * (no cover for this sport for purchases or extensions on or after 01 February 2012)"

how did you guys get coverage for something thats explicitly excluded? am i missing something?
