I have heard of some jumpers tacking down the middle of the shoulder vents on Tube 3's for BASE jumps essentially making the single vents into two smaller ones. Can anyone speak to this? I emailed Peter at pressurized and they do not recommend it.

why...the suit pressurizes fine?

To be honest I don't know. I was told it helps with leg first inflation but I don't see how that is a big advantage. Looking at the tube 4 it looks like they went to 2 or 3 smaller shoulder vents as opposed to one big one.
