Squirrel Ultralite
I'm looking for a tracking specific low profile set up but am struggling to find much info other than Squirell's own on their Stronglite. Does anyone have any experience of them yet? or are they too new. Trying to draw comparisons between the razor/LD2/Stronglite. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

Given that the Stronglite has been available for ordering for just a week or two, you´ll definitely struggle to find people outside from the R&D -team who can give you first hand feedback. So if you really want a pure customer opinion (not people affiliated with the manufacturer) giving you a comparison between the Stronglite and some other rigs in the same market segment, you should post this after the coming season and most likely youĺl find a lot more people who can chime in.

I'm also curious about this rig.
They says on the promo video that this rig is certified by Paratest. I google it and found a website that give certification for paragliders.
on what certification the Stronglight is based ?
Can we have the documentation of that certification ? For paragliding it's public, otherwise why having such test if it's not for customers security ;)

They are the first brand to offer a certification and I'm curious that there is a "BASE" certification ...

in regards to certification, actually the harness on the morpheus rigs is basically tso'd and legal to jump from aircraft in germany from what i understand, the harness design on the stronglite makes sense in my opinion based on the concept of a continuous harness you maintain the full intergrity of the double type eight webbing

That's true of almost all the harnesses on the market. The first one to be run through the process was the Perigee series, but at this point I think all the major manufacturers gear has been approved.

I would probably assume the same that they use for paragliding harnesses given the association between squirrel and ozone. In the video, the fact that none of the pull tests machines could bring the harness to failure is a pretty good sign, as I doubt ill put that kind of load on it at any time.

Ok, BASE-Certification or TSO, ...?
Already done as far as I know ... for example:
http://www.jumpshack.com/baser.htm
Tom mentioned it as well ...

We here in Germany are using certified gear for over 14 years now...
The Perigees, Gargoyles and different German Rigs passed the Tests.

I've asked almost every manufacturer about getting an ultralight canopy for skydiving and they get crosseyed when you mention "ultralight base canopy" and "skydiving". "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THAT?", they say.

Apex was super helpful about it, but can't get a straight answer from Asylum or PD.

Just sent an email about it to Squirrel. Betting I get a response.
