I am pretty sure I didn't miss it, sorry if someone else already posted it, but I saw this news article today. Looks like they are trying to do a live broadcast event of a wingsuit jump off the summit of Everest. Anybody have any more info on this? Interesting to know the logistics, etc. That being said, pretty cool too.

Ill be extremely intruiged if this is 1. actually the summit of everest, and 2. they get weather to cooperate to do a live broadcast in a notoriously unpredictable weather environment.

I suppose theyll probably set it up like Felix's jump and just cut in whenever they actually have the conditions to jump.

I'd like to take the big leap on her.

Curious to know what sort of vertical clearance you need to to wing suit BASE from 29,000 feet?

Seems like it would be more than if you were at 4,000 feet with the reduction in air density.

Would certainly need an impressive rock drop...

or a slide off the edge.
