This comes up a lot, and the answer seems to be constantly evolving...but I'm headed to Brento/LB this summer and want to get up to speed on the best travel insurance options. I'd just want some catastrophic coverage as well as something that would get me back to the US if I get hurt. Legal jumps only.

Looks like my current medical insurance would cover any medical costs incurred in Italy or Switzerland at the nearest medical facility. I'd be on my own to get back to the US if that's what I wanted to do though.

Seems like sufficient coverage. If anyone sees any red flags here or has any thoughts I'd love to hear them.
