Re: [BigfcknG] Tube 4
I'm not sure about knife edge, I fly the Tube 3 all the time, in skydiving not base, and find it to be fine. But i might have gotten used to it. When I started out it seemed unstable. The key for me was to put my arms up and back before bringing them closer to my sides with more experience.
edit: flying it pants only can be sketchy, because you are very head down. I've done it a few times but once my d-bag hit me in the foot because of the low angle, so I stopped doing it.
The Tube 4 is supposed to be much easier to control, and has an option for beginners to reduce the pants' volume for learning. Andi at pressurized did a lot of test jumps and prototypes to get there. I think the stability comes from more tapered legs and bigger butt.
I think the tube 4 is more like the PF suit, but with the inlets in the same place as the Tube 3 it can still be taken steep without loss of pressurization; the inlets face the oncoming air not just down. Also, it has a backfly inlet option!!
When I get one to fly I'll post how it is.
