6:16pm is full dark in Edmonton at this time of year. Sunset there is 4:23 today.

and even if dark it is dar, 6.16PM downtown isn't exactly slow time ...

Who cares if its dark. 6:16 pm people are still walking TO dinner. IMHO, emphasis on H, very, very H opinion, 6-8pm probably has more foot traffic than any other time of the day in most downtowns....

I don't know the jumpers, and I'm not familiar with the circumstances of the jump. I'm just pointing out that it may have felt "later" that far north than it would somewhere further south.

Which video? The only one I saw that said it was from this jump was an indoor shot. There were several "it would have looked like this" bits that were carefully phrased and shown, but were never actually said to be images of the actual jump.

I think that video you linked to is from a previous bust on the same object, several months ago. And that jump was before dusk...

(Not making a point, just clarifying.)
