Chamonix is worth a look if you are willing to learn French. As is almost anywhere in Switzerland.

And if you're ok with cold there are some interesting options in western canada.

 

New Zealand.

Having worked around the West, Twin Falls isn't all bad for living and it isn't far to get to the out of doors if that's of interest. Eg. Sawtooth Mtns, Sun Valley etc. I'm not a base jumper but I walk the rim trail and watch all year long. If you plan to have kids, schools aren't that bad as all my 3 sons who are now professionals found out.

If you you are still in that young "On the Road" gypsy mode and who isn't when they are young? But as time and family move on priorities change.. This isn't a bad place with that perspective. Just some thoughts.

Yes, we need more BASE jumpers.
