I watched a documentary a few months ago about a guy who wingsuited a mountain in BC. He had a 2 minute flight.

Unfortunately, he had to travel upriver by boat and build a ramp to exit.

I actually live in AK, just looking for sites a days drive or less from home, thanks though.

I made two skydives from a Cessna 207 in Kotzebue on the shore of the Bering Sea. But, there are no suitable Base Sites in Alaska. Could not find any sheer cliffs. I lived and flew in Alaska for five years, and I did look for sites! There is always Baffin Island in Canada? That would require a guided trip and a lot of money! Good luck!

Bunch of things look jumpable at the Ruth Gorge, probably a bit farther than an hour from your house though.

Haaaha, yup. No suitable sites in a landmass the size of Europe. They're there, but only for the resourceful and/or determined. Definitely not much within 3 hours hike of the road sytems. I've spent all of my time/money working toward getting dialed for BASE/speedwing up here for the last few years. Speedwinging has been super successful, but BASE is slower to develop. In short, yes there are sites, but they're not easy to access and are virtually all unjumped. Winter opens a number of Ski BASEs right off the road though...

Just watch out for grizzly bears, they're everywhere.
