LB/ITW Weather
Looking to hit ITW and LB in the summer - first Euro trip for a poorly traveled and uncultured American. I can only seperate from the suit & tie for 2 weeks and need to plan based on my best possible chances of hitting good weather.

What summer month will give me the best shot at maximum jumpable days? I've been told June, but I've also been told August. I'd like to start at ITW and then move to LB from there.

Booking early will cut costs...but booking late will provide more insight into how the season's weather has been. Any guidance with respect to booking the trip would be appreciated (e.g. How many months ahead of time should I think about booking before costs shoot up?).

Thanks!

if money is the most important June will have much cheaper tickets. mid september is when the flight prices go back down after the august tourist rush. July and august are the most expensive flight tickets no matter when you book. as far a maximum jumpable days there is no telling at all. but brento is pretty forgiving. it might suck for a day or two but u can get jumps there. i have booked 11 europe trips in the last 4 years mostly between june and september. i usually book early and have not really found any cheaper tickets late.

Dominik Loyen at 321 base is well connected in LB, he may be able to help you, or would certainly be a valuable contact to have.(www.321base.eu)

Easy Peasy for ITW. 2-3 jumps in the morning and a 50/50 for the evening if you be a tracker instead of a winger. Here is a link for daylight: http://www.gaisma.com/en/location/trento.html
There is a standard wind hold around 11:00 to sunset in the spring and summer, late summer is the best.
take care,
