I was wondering if any of you who are BASE jumping a lot and have a GOPRO or camera would be willing to film a video of yourself jumping for a movie I'm making. It's not for pay - just for fun. I'd really appreciate it!

let me be the first to say No...... you may not do so well on here. you can't ask for something and only say you need it for a video.... what is this video for?

My friend is retiring and we're putting together a video for him to show at the surprise party we're throwing for him. I wanted to show some BASE jumping in it since I think it's an awesome sport. I'm including other extreme sports as well - kind of like things you gotta do before you die.

As far as I know it is. I did the skydive for him. He just wanted a small message before and after the jumper for the guy retiring.

I was born in '93. Haha no it's legit. I can show you some of the videos I have via dropbox if you'd like. I'm putting together videos from people all over the world for this. I'm trying to get a lot of extreme sports, like skydiving (which Arvoitus generously did for me), rock climbing, BASE jumping, etc. I'm just a college student that really likes making movies and wanted this one to be unique for the retirement party I'm helping to throw. Forums are a great place to connect with people for this.

Svin, I got the link but there was no video attached? It'd be awesome to have some shots of base jumping in Switzerland. If you'd be willing to say a couple lines before or after, that'd be even better!

Let me know if anyone would be willing to help a brother out! Just need you to say a few lines and do some BASE jumping.

I think you should make us a video first. Look at it as sort of a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" scenario. Show us who you are, what your house looks like, etc. Some of the single guys on this forum may need some video of your sister/girlfriend as well.

Once we get your video, then someone will assist you momentarily.

Guy is pretty much an Uncle to me. I am in charge of making a video for the party my parents are throwing since he retired and sold his business, that's all. I just wanted a little help.

Being a video editer myself, I'll just say grabbing videos from youtube sucks. Working with raw footage is always best and I'm sure that's what this guy is after.

But, there is still the chance, like always, this the dude will want it to show to his friends saying it's him :]

No offense, but this sounds like a stupid idea for a video at a retirement party.
