Not at you Hajo, Maybe that is part of the thrill. Getting caught. I can find no other reason why they didnt contact the Lokals. It has been dayblazed many times with no arrests or even a mention in the media. To each their own. Whatever.

You are right as ever..

They got caught, that it is why it came to media and to phonecalls from BILD and Merkur Newspapers to me...
No big deal...

Calling the locals in front is oldschool, I guess they were more into getting sunny footage.. ;-)

But again, at least they climbed the fence and performed well (I suppose..)..
Alsonote everyone: the last time someone got caught, they took away his Rig as a piece of evidence... and fined him with 2.000.- Eur in addition..

Seriously, I do admire your patience with people that do not contact the locals. Even if that's "old school". There are ways (as Space pointed out so rightly) to do this safely, without getting caught and with NO FUCKING PRESS COVERAGE ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!

And, if you followed protocol, someone MIGHT, and I say MIGHT, point you to some great cliffs, or some serious other objects, to round off your trip (provided you still got your gear).

To the jumpers: if they did not take your gear, pls make sure you get yourselves and your gear outside of German Borders ASAP. Seriously, 250€ for a jump from that object is a ticket I'd pay any day :-)

I guess that they didn't care about stealthy Action. And we know that the owners are not amused.. Your advice is quite right, but I assume that they are out of Germany anyway ..;))
