Antenna Search Registry & finding specific models
Hey guys. I've been using the ASR since I started jumping (http://wireless2.fcc.gov/...gistrationSearch.jsp) and importing it into google earth, but I've been wondering if there is any way to use the information on there to find only free standers? There are a lot of numbers involved in the registration that are shown for each antenna (when you click on the registration number after searching) and I'm wondering if there is any kind of pattern which would identify what type of model antenna it is. I'd love to be able to only search (likely with a program, not the website search) for free-standing 4-point base antennas like these (http://www.engineeringradio.us/...crowave-antennas.jpg)...almost sure it's just wishful thinking, but I thought I'd check!

You're welcome.

Doesn't really help with the freestanding thing, but there are options for antenna height. That helps to narrow down what you're looking for.

Googleearth it and look for the guy wires or the roads and the anchors if you have a site in mind.
Take care,

That's what I've done for most of my A objects so far. This post was about a way to look up all of a certain model or type of antenna within a radius of X from you...looking for some FFable freestanders in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks to all for the info. Found exactly what I was looking for! May have 2 more nice objects in the rotation now so maybe they won't get too hot Tongue.
