Does anyone know any base jumpers in singapore. I have been working here and had my rig w me. The buildings are everywhere but im afraid of getting cained if i get caught. Looking to find anybody who has jumped here?
I lived in Singapore for a year but never quite fancied being deported for jumping... especially as Malaysia is so close with their rather more open approach to both jumping and subsequent bribery of officials. Not that I would suggest doing either. Johor Bahru has quite a few jumpable buildings though..
When I was there in the '80s there was a beautiful tram ride from the top floor of one of the tallest buildings on the beach that went all the way out to the island of Sentosa. I thought at the time I would like to jump it someday. I've been told that it is no longer in operation. Its probably just as well. They seem to make up the laws as they go along in Singapore. I do recall the landing card suggested in bold red letters that the penalty in Singapore for "drug trafficking" was death. I'm sure its even worse for BASE jumping.
