Hey, i am looking for a used V4, at the moment every 3rd has

*Updated Leg Wing
*Updated Inlets
*.......

can someone tell me the differences? and cahrge fofr getting the updates?

If the stitching below the inlet is slanted you have original, if stitching is parallel you have first update, 3 inlets is latest usually with extra cells on both leg and deflector and smaller outboard mylar.

do you know the reason for the changes?

is this an update for the V3? i fly one and would like to know.

Yeah, its called the v4

Im sure there will be an angry post saying always contact phoenix fly directly with any questions and never discuss them in public, but there may have been a small issue with leg wing flap in steep dives which may or may not have been due to the inlets, or the third was added for better pressurization on exit. I have heard both theories, and that both of these were wrong seperately. There were two initially on the v4, then there were three. I assume updated would mean three.

There where a few suits having trouble with inflation in the legwing at steeper angles.
Inflation not always being 100% in arm or legwing is something not exclusive to PF.

But suits having that problem where always free to be fixed at cost/expenses of PF, and we always try and get a client a 100% working product thats been field tested for over a year. But every once in a while, an individual product can have a problem.

With the design improvements on V4, V5 etc we offer clients the option of updating their older models to newer specs regarding inflation. Not so much because the old version isnt working. But just because improved design has led to a better one.

In some cases, V4 have also asked their suit to be updated to the new V5 legwing.

The number of inlets is not the change. Its the actual design of the inlet itself thats different.
