Hey guys, I am new to the idea of BASE. However I do have about 45 skydives, and I am very current. I jump a spectre 210 and I weigh about 160lbs. With this configuration, I was thinking about going to twin falls, and "hucking some sweet jumps" Although I do not have BASE gear. My spectre is a 7 cell, and I have done alot of research on BASE packing, Im thinking if I direct pack my spectre into my sky rig, and pull my slider off, This should be a safe adventure! My question to you guys is, should I pull off the D-bag, or just tuck it into the pack job? Oh and my pilot chute isnt collapsable! Thanks in advance for the help!

Perfect plan ! Don't forget to invite a friend to your first jump, so he can film you and send us the footage. We will have something to watch during the windy days

Don't bother jumping with a rig at all being that at best, you will have line stretch when you hit the water due to Spectre's ridiculously long snivel at terminal as it is. Please PM me details of your planned excursion. I have already pre-sold the footage to "World's Dumbest," and Danny Bonaduce has agreed to be the sole commentator.

Why do you see line stretch being the best case scenario, when i pull my slider off and direct pack into my container? might I mention i have a 4 inch hole in my bottom skin from a tree landing, its off to the right in my center cell! like a vent!

Forego packing into the container and have a buddy D-bag you. Just make sure they know their right from left and they don't drop the bag.
