Lost Flysight @ ITW
So I lost my Flysight @ ITW earlier this week, pretty sure it fell out of my stash bag in the "gear up" area or perhaps the exit.

It has a piece of tape on the back with a number '2' written on it and the initials " JB ".

Reward on offer for the safe return, sad to lose the GPS but more so for the data saved on it :(

Thanks

...and Wintek WBT-201
The more GPS's we lose, the easier they're to find, right? Wink Here's my "contribution" - lost Wintek WBT-201 mid-June. It's somewhere between climber's parking lot and main LZ. What happened - I had WBT-201 mounted on velcro on rig's yoke, and another GPS mounted on velcro on helmet's back-of-neck strap. When I looked up to grab toggles, the two velcro's mated and WBT-201 got free.

So there's a positive outcome of this loss - if you use velcro in various places to mount stuff, think about unexpected matings between them... could toggles mate with some velcro on your helmet in case of a riser strike?

This WBT-201 is special: it gathers beautiful GPS data at 5Hz. Not 4, 5! When I tried to set it to 4Hz per advice from the forums, it didn't work reliably: it would oftentimes record 1-2-3-4 samples as e.g. 1-4-3-2; but when I tried 5Hz, it worked beautifully - proper 1-2-3-4-5. And almost no issues with losing satellites due to wall "shadow".

So if anyone finds it, please use it, then leave it with the girls at the bar, and I'll send you a thorough analysis of your flights. Smile
