A great tool for accuracy practice (especially on night jumps)
Hey guys. Another jumper brought some of these to try out one night on a jump.

http://www.amazon.com/...-Color/dp/B008R72TE8

They worked great for a few reasons:

1) They are impossible to see from the ground if you place them in grass but are very easy to see from above.

2) I've been jumping objects with easier LZs and these have given me an opportunity to stay current on my accuracy and feel more confident on the exit point of more technical jumps.

3) They let us mark obstacles / overgrown areas / ideal landing spot by using the different colors. This was especially useful since there was no moon and a bright strobe on top of the exit point killing night vision.

Just thought I'd let y'all know!

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it took us more than 30min from placing them to picking them up.

They have them at Wally World for about 3 bucks a pop (3 or 4 different colors). They have a flash light on the front, a blinking option, AND a whistle on the backside that doubles perfectly as a packing spike! They time out at an hour... =)

Usually on moonless nights on the object he brought them out to I'd just be solo jumpin naked Tongue
