Hi all,

You'll be pleased (or not) to know that there is a new taxi service in place at the ITW. Fabio and his girflriend Adrianna can take you up to the parking area where we usually start the hike. Fabio also has a Land Rover and the permit necessary to drive you up through the forest all the way to the house sitting at the back of the exit point (20 minutes walk from there).
Both of them are extremely friendly and will get up at 4 in the morning if necessary :)

On a side note, this also means that you can find yoursef stucked up there with no car to drive down should you decide not to jump. So think carefully about what conditions you're willing to jump in before getting in the B.A.S.E bus!!!

More jumpers can show up alone and get some stuff..

How much?

So the trip to the parking area is 50 euro. That's ofc to be divided by the number of jumpers. Main bus can take up to eight people.

The trip to the very top will cost you an extra 30 euro to be divided by the number of jumpers going (maximum of 6 in the land rover).

I hope that's clear. if not, don't worry it will be when you get here. Fabio's number can be found at the bar on the window on a big sign that says B.A.S.E BUS :)

Maybe we can stash a couple skateboards up there if you get winded off, then just roll back to Arco...at a 100mph!

why dont we just build a gondola to the top?

a) Lots of money
b) Someone would probably fly into it and need an embarrassing helicopter rescue
c) Many would just bail from the gondola instead of waiting to get to the top...
