I'M NEW-HAVE QUESTIONS
In terms of gear, I'd like some help and perspective on the significance (or lack thereof) of certain features. Bottomless corners, built in risers etc. Anything you'd recommend for a novice or advise I stay away from? Thoughts appreciated. I want to make a sound decision in getting new gear. Cheers!

Re: [DocCrazy41] I'M NEW-HAVE QUESTIONS
I'd recommend getting some training first.

In general, I tell my students to hold off buying gear until after they've completed a course, so that they can make a more educated purchase decision. During their first training course, they get to jump several different rigs, look at many others, and we have a lecture/discussion session on the various rigs available on the market.

It honestly sounds to me like you'd benefit from getting a bit more education before you throw down a big chunk of cash for gear.
