Can't really help you with lodging... because
my wife came with us, so we had to stay in
a nice place, hence she made our reservation.

Unfortunately they gave away our reservation
(accident by new employee) so to make it up
to us they gave us rooms in their sister place.

Dro is where the LZ is located and I think
there is camping near by. Arco is a close
town with hotels. We stayed in Riva Del
Garda which is further away and much
more expensive because it is a beautiful
tourist town right on the water.

Josh and his now wife got a nice room, Jeff
had a nice room solo which he tried to lure
25 year old Italian ladies, and the wife and
I got scored the penthouse --- turned out
to be an awesome mistake in our favor.

Every night we had the whole top floor of
the place to ourselves including the veranda.

The Riva Del Garda Penthouse
We were using tracking suits so we only did
early morning and sunset jumps, mid days
were for lunch, drinks, and packing... but
yes, we could have had parties and packed.

The hotel was this square 5 floor building in the
piazza near the waterfront. The 4th floor had a
"restaurant" for free breakfast every morning
and the veranda (outside seating area) with
the penthouse being one huge room on top
of that occupying the entire 5th floor.

To access our room you entered a door on the
4th floor which was vacant every night, took
a staircase up most of a flight then their was
our private bathroom, then up a short flight
to one large room with cathedral ceiling over
bed, tv, couch, chairs, table, wardrobe, etc.
with windows on all sides.

If any of you are ever near here be sure to
have drinks and/or safety meeting and then
go check out the Reptile Museum Laugh
