Azimuth Risk insurance covering BASE?
Has anyone used the Beacon Series Travel Medical Insurance Plan from Azimuth Risk Solutions ... it seems to cover BASE if you take up the Sports Rider option and are not jumping for profit or reward, but legal jargon and insurance docs really aren't my thing so I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of using it, or has spotted reasons not to use it that I have overlooked??

Looks like there is a 10,000 limit on sports rider covered events?

The Sports Rider option only provides up to $10000 coverage. This is relatively little cover.
The Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit does not apply when you are engaged in sports and/or hazardous activities.

A few people that have phoned Azimuth Risk Solutions have been told the Beacon Series Travel Medical Insurance Plan would not cover BASE jumping but those that I have communicated with at Azimuth Risk Solutions have said that it will. I have not heard of anyone trying to make a claim from them yet. Mostly only Australians have purchased this policy in the past after they were locked out of better insurance cover.
