I've seemed to of dragged my blackjack through a pool of motor oil after last nights f111 party. The consistency leads me to believe it's of a low viscosity, maybe 5w 30? Does any one have any recommendation on some non abrasive cleaners for hand wash? I'm familiar with woolite and using it for down products. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

There used to be a product called Carbo-sol. Apparently it was more dangerous than Monsanto and took it off the market. It was great for oil or tar and such.

Have you ever tried "Goof Off"?

Yes actually. I forgot about it. Seems to work fine.

Another product is plain ol Wax and Grease Remover from any paint store, or many auto supply stores. It can go by other names as well.

I've used baby wipes before in removing oil from a canopy, quite effective. I guess it depends just how much you have on there though.
