Perrine bridge maintenance
does anyone know if the Perrine bridge will be shuting down for maintenance this summer. If so when and for how long? ... was planning going out there end of may or 1st week of June. Basejumper.com - archive

ive heard they are keeping one side open almost always unless there is people working underneath

It's supposed to happen during May, and be done by Memorial Day. There is supposed to be one side open for jumping (so you might have to go to the dark side) at all times, except that there may be a few hours (less than 5 over the course of the entire month) where they are hanging below the bridge and will ask us not to jump.
Personally, after what happened last summer, I'd recommend just going ahead with whatever plans you have. Last year, some people kept postponing plans and never ended up getting here, even though the construction never actually happened.

Heard it's starting 4-8-13.....unless it gets post-poned again. It'd be nice if they put a new windsock up while doing the "maintenance"

Then buy one and take it over to the workers and ask them to install it for you while they are there.

the sock is still there and bridge work is canceled till next year
