USA Base Jumpers for Video Doc

Hi. My name is J. I'm looking to create a documentary style video about a group of base jumpers in the USA.

I'm looking to tell a story about the brother and sisterhood that exists in this community via interviews and awesome base jumping b-roll. (b-roll is stock footage)

I can supply the gopro's, pay for gas, and I would shoot the interviews along with supply food.

The location is wherever you think the most awesome shots would be. Mountain? Bridge? skyscraper? I'll travel.

Please email me ASAP if you're interested b/c the project is due mid april.

I would suggest Outback Steakhouse in Twin Falls Idaho, two for one cocktails should keep your budget down, might even help pay for your tandem base jump.

Well, I am an American Base jumper in the BVI. I am really missing my gear, so if you bring me a rig, I will jump something cool for you to video here. Or I may just sail away laughing at you and jump something in Puerto Rico. Depends entirely on my mood and how much beer you buy me.

Come to think of it, who wants to do a Caribbean Base Site Burning trip? I will provide the sailboat, this guy can provide the cameras, and we can burn the Caribbean to the ground?

Seriously, good luck, you will probably find some people willing to do this for you, and if you are really lucky, they won't land on you.

Ummm, I dont do tandemBASE and what does this have to do with a "base jumping b-roll"?

I know of that type (from documentaries I've worked on). I also know that PG pilots refer to a b-roll flight maneuver. I was trying to ascertain which he was referring to because he modified the term to "base jumping b-roll".

B-roll is basically stock footage to put over the interview. So if you ever watch a documentary and see the subject walking around, doing stuff, looking cool, that's b roll. In this case the b roll would be shots (video recordings) of people jumping.

I'm not looking to actually jump. I want to document it, as in shoot it (you doing it) with my camera.
