We stayed at a caravan park that was right under the castle. Had really good cabins for a good price. There was also infinite space to pack, with lit areas also.

This is a family run place that has camping, B&B and villas. The girls that run it have come up to the exit a few times and really enjoy the BASE folks. It super close to the road up.

been there, liked it; there's also some nice climbing just opposite the entrance for the not ideal weather-days; town is easy to reach on foot too!
