Heavy Wingloading on a Trango
Is there anything wrong with loading a Trango somewhere around 0.85 or 0.9? I jump a Troll 265 for SD jumps and I'm thinking of getting a Trango 225 for SU. If I did, I'd open nowhere near the object, but I'm just wondering if the heavy loading puts more wear on the canopy. Thanks.

Exactly. Not to mention those Optimum low bulk reserves built out of very similar fabric, but with less reinforcement than the Trango, and many times loaded above 2.0 People are just falling out of the sky with those.

Anyone wanna buy some common sense ? There's a large stock of it laying around unused around the world.

Nothing wrong with it at all, but the difference between a 225 and 245 bulk wise isnt a whole lot. I jump one size smaller lightweight rig because its usually big open fields, but your speed will be pretty high on that wingloading, and you may be landing at higher altitudes as well. Not wrong to do, just food for thought.
