Rounds and exit altitude
What's the lowest someone has used a traditional round without any ill effects ?
I am interested the 24ft/26ft variety, like the sport reserves (i.e. Phantoms, Strongs, Preserves)

I know Perrine and NRGB get them used all the time, but I was hoping for someone with lower alti experience.
Would love to know the exit alti, the deployment method, and deployment alti / time under canopy.

thanks in advance.

Re: [vid666] Rounds and exit altitude
We used to jump them regularly from 250 to 300 feet over water. We were using Phantom 24s, Pioneer K 20s, Piglet...etc. We would get 5-10 second canopy rides. One of the guys streamered in from 300 feet once. We throught it was a fluke or packing error. 2 weeks later, I streamered in from the same cliff. Since then, I've raised my lower limit on rounds to about 450 feet. I could probably be talked into 400 feet, but no lower.
We all were using velcro rigs with lines stowed in the pack tray of the container. No diapers, and no 45's on the skirt. Freefall times anywhere from go and throw to 2+ second delays.

I think the lowest I have gone from is about 200 ft., with a PC assist.
