Winter Gloves
Can anyone recommend some good winter gloves to wear whilst jumping?

Re: [garfjones] Winter Gloves
I've made some recent BASE jumps wearing these:

Chaos - CTR Howler

I usually keep them in my cargo pockets and wear heavier gloves for the climb. Then I slap these on for the jump. They have a snug fit, super-grippy palms and fingers, and they've been sufficiently warm for our Wisconsin/December jumps so far.

I haven't been using them long enough to say anything about how long they last. But they're cheap, so who cares.

Wearing a pair of latex gloves under a pair of gloves will keep your hands much warmer. This will allow you to wear a thinner pair of exterior gloves, keep your fingers from getting numb, and give you good feel at your fingertips since you're not wearing a bulkier pair of gloves.

I really like the HESTRA gloves. If it is kinda cold i where a cross country ski glove and if it is very cold, the mountaineering gloves or any thinner, broken in ski glove work really well. they break in so nicely that i have no fear of not finding pilot chute.

here are examples, but not the exact ones i use

Been using these for two years now. They are quite thin so it's not a glove for hiking, just the jump. The grip is fantastic and it offers really good feel. They are so good I've started using them all year roundSmile
