is it really worth the extra 100 dollars for the spacer foam option?

im not going to be doing BASE hop n pops from 10k sitting in the saddle for 10 minutes

I've had a helium for about 4 months now and is by far the most comfortable rig I've owned, so I would say no to the foam only unless you do plan on wearing your rig for 8 hours a day!

I've had my helium for a year and a half now, no foam, and it is a very comfy rig without it, just know that your profile will be taller with the foam... I dont see a reason for it

sold. fuck the foam. order has been placed =)

I like the finished look of the foam. if it were only about function than I would drive a base model Hyundai.

its important you tell them the size like it is from attair not pia. I order a container for a bj 240 and they built it for troll 245 witch is bj 260

yeah, which is bullshit. like suddenly canopy pack volumes are a surprise. that's a real bummer.

As long as you order the complete rig (helium/troll) from kathy there shouldn't be any sizing issues with the container

no ive got a BJ 280 on order so i will STRESS the importance of the proper size. id be pretty pissed spending almost a grand on the wrong sized container

so you're saying that if they don't order an atair canopy with their container there's no obligation to make the conatainer the correct size?

i ordered 3 brand new rigs from Kathy over the past 5 years.
2 of the canopies came from CR
1 canopy from Atair

Gargoyle, Blackjack240. came sized Perfectly
Helium, Ace240. came sized PERFECTLY
Razor, Trango245. CAME SIZED PERFECTLY.

so i dont know what you guys are talking about, but She Most Definitely has her shit together.

i hear ya buddy. i don't want to get in a pissing match over something that doesn't affect me in any way... but it's not right.

let's just say that there are some complaints out there.

if you put on your order form for the rig to fit a specific canopy, then it should fit that canopy. period.

am i wrong?

you are not wrong at all. it should be perfect. and it is wrong if the manufacturer makes alleged mistakes such as above.
so these containers came and were too big for the canopy?
did it say on the container label that it was sized inappropriately?
i just know for my 3 rigs and my friends rigs (upwards of 15) have all came perfectly.
not trying to get into pissing match either, just posting my experience with the company.

it didn't happen to me, so i will just bow out of this... i'd love to hear that the problems get fixed. mistakes happen. it's how they are handled that are the key.
