First choice was 90 left, 2nd was right, opening was to the right, but toggle hung up sending me back straight...

Do you think there was some kind of issue that caused the hang up, or did you just not clear them hard enough? I have had lazy toggle clearing's before and it looked like that. Scary stuff dude, I did not see those lines in the video!

How many of us land in area's that haven't been properly scoped out? Probably lots of us. Good reminder to take a good look around at all the possible outs!

Ive had this set of risers hang up twice, these have vectran for the loop instead of dacron. I have now switched them out.

This appears to be an unsafe location for base jumping. You should try to find a location that offers some more overall altitude.

I often ask myself, "if there is not enough room to use a "slider", is it worth going base jumping there?" Often the answer is yes, but the benchmark of worthiness remains.

Too low! too many obstacles! what about that powerline? yikes!!! stay away from this one!!!!!

I think it's just the obstacles and wind direction isn't it? I mean if it was a 150' high platform surrounded by nothing but grass it'd still be safer (given consistent, redundant static line rigging).
