Seriously guys, there has been more done in the last year to burn this object to the ground then the previous 30. DON'T FLY OVER THE TREES OR YOU WILL LAND IN THEM. I know people love to visit Lodi and try that base jumpin thing on that bug bridge, but please please please contact locals. If you can't land on a one lane road in the usual 0 winds that are there, then stay the fuck away! NEVER fly on the left of the road, ever.

I hope you don't really mean that six. There is one big tree that over hangs the trail some. Get on the trail when you're scoping out the landing zone, look around and think to yourself...
self (insert thought bubble here) "Self, There's a tree, don't fly there. Stay off the tree side of the trail, there are trees there."

At some point when you're done scoping out the area, get on the object and then, while thinking about landing, say to yourself...
----
self - "Hey Self?"
self - "Yes self?"
self - "Stay off the tree side of the path, there are trees there."
self - "Thanks Self"
Look around, enjoy the moment then jump. After opening ... Go land on the trail. Don't fly over the trees or onto the tree side of the trail.
There are few reasons to get hurt or stuck there. A perfectly open and flying canopy does not fit into any of them. Sucks for the jumpers but it's really true.

What about opening low in a wind sheer on a borrowed canopy? The little trees above the goat trail aren't big enough to get stuck in; at least two of them aren't.

Perhaps jasonnever should hand out stickers (like lodi) that would identify jumpers cleared to jump his object?! Also, I'm confused by the number of jumpers that are "experienced" but still missing a straight, 150m road with fully functional parachutes?? At least hit something cool like powerlines!
