Can't answer for PF, but when I bought my most recent suit, my major consideration on colour was visibility. A friend of mine spent some time stuck on a wall, and was nearly invisible from the ground, so I aimed for not-that.

Our suits are all custom made, so colour choice is up to the customer.

Orange and black are our company colours and often people like them, so choose to have their suit made this way.
