Got a text from Dean that he flew from the high Eiger all the way back to Lauti yesterday. Another amazing achievement by Big Bird !!!!!

Just out of curiosity, which one know holds the title for the "biggest base jump in the world", High Eiger or Aguille du Midi? HEiger to LB is around 3700 -> 900 - 800m and Aiguille du Midi to Chamonix is around 3800 -> 1000m (depending on where they landed on these jumps)? :)

Heard rumor of this the other day as well. Sounds like another epic exit was opened 2500 ft above jungfrau as well. 2500!!! Dean and stanley are doing well for swiss valley base.

2500 feet about Jungfrau, that would be 16.142 feet

Weird, I kind of assumed this would have already been done. From what I know of the area the topography lends itself quite well to that route, or is it "difficult"?

Not that I've tried, personally.

Its very, very difficult. Sustained glide ratio of right at 3.0 for almost 9000ft with very little in terms of outs. Deans the only one I know of that has even attempted it in the past and landed in some sketchy trees.

Any idea the length (time) of the flight? Just curious.. that's a loooong way. Really cool stuff!
