Super Raven IV brake settings
I'm building a Super Raven IV water rig. I have it all finished except for the brake settings. I'm not sure where to start with the deep brake settings. I'm thinking about 3-4 inches deeper than the factory settings. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on where to put them? I'll dial them in after I get a starting point, but I'm not sure about the starting point. Thanks.

Re: [554] Super Raven IV brake settings
Have never owned a raven, but I know you might as well throw up your weight on the thread otherwise its going to be impossible to know since they are all different with different weights. Also...Deep brakes on a water rig? E to W?

Compare it to a BASE canopy that is about the same size and transfer it over to the Raven. It doesn't really matter, like you said, you're gonna dial them in any way. Just slap'em on and go see what they do.

I'm about 190 pounds. Yes, E to W.

Yea. I think that's going to be a good starting point too. I just wanted to get some opinions before I did it.

I'd go about 6 inches deeper than the factory setting for your weight, Wes. I've been jumping a Raven a lot lately, and the factory settings are pretty shallow.

3 inches deeper than factory settings worked for me with my raven IV and I am 170lbs or so. the factory ones are good too
