Seems like there are a lot of V4's for sale...
Especially in Euro_land, is everyone getting apaches or is there something new about to come out from PF?

there are some pilots that sucked in a V4 and bought a tony suit carpet. but jumpers who are good in a V4 are not going to sell it :-)
In my opinion a V4 is like a Ferrari and an Apache is like 7 BMW. Everyone can drive fast in a 7 BMW but not everyone can drive fast in a Ferrari. But if you can handle the Ferrari you can take the turns with lots more speed than in a 7 BMW Wink

i just sold my ferrariSmile and ordered an BMWx3.....
IN MY OPINION the BMW starts flying sooner and has more flare than the ferrari.
i didnt care for the slow flight charachteristics of the ferrari, it seemed like if you flare or lose any forward speed the suit gets sluggish and loses allot of performance.

THIS IS MY OPINION, i am not trying to push a brand war, i am basing my opinion on a bias because i have always flown BMWs.

There are a couple of pretty darn good V4 pilots who put them up for sale i noted though. One tall muscly swiss one who I thought flew it pretty darn well.

I know also some Swiss jumpers selling the V4, but thats not because they put many, many jumps on it and they are buying new V4's...

I am not a very good V4 pilot but I have not found an exit where I would have thought I'd rather jump an Apache because it starts to fly sooner... And flare Power is for sure not something I'm looking for in a Wingsuit in base. I look for speed power :-)

The reason he is selling it is just because the light was not good... :D

Also keep in mind that some of the design aspects change slightly over time with R+D. When I got my current V4 about a year ago (maybe a little less) it had a slightly different inlet deisgn than the suits being produced currently. I imagine it is more people want the latest and greatest rather than a problem with the suit.

As for the speed thing. I had two friends over the weekend jump together, one in a V4 and one in an X2. Both are expereinced wingsuit BASE jumpers, my friend in his X2 had to REALLY work to keep up with the V4's speed. Wink

wondering when the leg flap issue with the V4 was gonna be mentioned?
