I will be jumping my BJ 280 off a few terminal walls and was wanting some suggestions or tips so I don't break my neck on openings.

My old BJ never had any issues at terminal in terms of slammers with a standard slider up pack job.

I've jumped my bj terminal quite a bit and find a good Balance doing these 3 things

1 Fold the outer nose cells in 5 times on either side
2 Pull the center nose cell up so it lays just between the outer nose cells not opened up and exposed (looks akin to the slit on a vagina)
3 double wrap your primary stow tightly

I know some guys who run 2 rubber bands off their center C's and run those to bytes on their slider (direct slider control) but I've never needed it and don't want the hassle.

But hey this is just me, I don't know the rest of your pack job, your wing loading, or your tolerance for hard openings so my ideas are just something to think about.

On slider off pack jobs I do the Tilly Fold but probably won't on these jumps. I'm going to wrap the tail around just to the nose to restrict the entire pack job but the hint of the nose.

I weigh 185 and don't mind quick and firm openings, just dont want a Swiss Spanking to ruin the trip!

With my BJ I role the 3 outer cells as much as I can and as tight as i can keeping the center cell as described above in the middle looking like a vag. The less I role the outer cells the quicker it opens and vica versa. Play with it you will soon find what works for you.

we load our wings about the same and here is the standard valley bj pack job I use:

Once everything is flaked out as per usual I fold all of my tail, except the section with the tail pocket on it, in with my 2 reducing folds. My stablizers are folded in at 45 degree angles before the reducing folds. The I wrap the section of tail with the tailpocket around the packjob, and then dress the nose as mentioned earlier, slam a beer at the horner, double wrap my primary stow, stow my lines, close, look at yellow ocean for any Ozzies bouncing down the wall, grab a cable car, hike, jump, pull, land, stash, walk, look for the sheep with the giant balls, slam a beer at the Horner and repeat.

You really shouldn't have any problems with neck shattering slammers if you just do the basics you do on any terminal jump. But I get the want for security on your first exit not having to worry about getting slammed so here it all is laid out what works for me.

Ps I still have an unpacked blackjack from the valley sitting in my apartment you are more than welcome to come and practice on while I drink beer, I'll even let you learn to do my packjob on an unpacked troll I have, but only I you bring the beer!

Roll the shit out of your nose inwards until you get a feel for the opening speed and thats about it on the packing side of things. Small mesh slider *DO NOT USE A SAIL SLIDER!* Then know that no mater how you pack you cannot pull in full flight, tracking or wingsuiting. It is a must to plane out your flight before pitching, if you don't it won't matter how you pack you will see stars! Good luck they open fast but very reliable, fast openings give better heading performance.

One second enough or two good for coming out of the track? Of course two usually ends up being one, so maybe 4 which will be two? LOL.
