Lauterbrunnen 31/7
A friend and I will be arriving in the Valley by car on the night of the 30th. I was supposed to be meeting my mentor, who has been before, but due to a serious skydiving accident, will no longer be joining us. We are meeting up with a few other boys around the 4th of August, but until then, we wanted to do a few jumps off the more intermediate exits until then. My friend and I have never been to LB before and wanted to know where we can stay for a few nights, where to buy camping equpiment from and some general things to know, like the landing cards and such. I know this is short notice, but with my mentor passing, it has been a tough week. PM would be preferred.

Maybe you should go to ITW first/instead...Seems like a better Idea, rather than the sub terminal valley walls.

Probably not the answer you are looking for but I agree with the above, especially with the change of plans that you will not have your expected guide Frown If you are travelling by car, though, it would be easy to get to and the ITW is not very far. Wink

That is great advice. If anyone cares to offer more advice on accom,
locals etc, that would be bad ass. Cheers guys.

I'm here in the valley now. Not sure what your experience level is. But as far as camping goes I'm sure you've found the campground by now down towards the valley. Also there is the Horner and Chalet Im Rohr to stay at. I'll be here another two weeks. I could give you some pointers or send you to a local for them.
