Grand Hotel have been our biggest supporters for years, and I got a friendly request from the hotel management.

There are more and more jumpers arriving Åndalsnes, and they quickly learn Grand is a great place to pack, hang out, use internet drink "free" water, coffee, tea, bring their own beer, dry their canopy and clothes when they sleep in a tent, cabin or just in the car.

PLEASE, do not ruin the goodwill from the locals by owning the place. Ask, think and think again about what you do, and how you behave.

It was a friendly request, no harm, but think about it as a Hotel who trying to serve their guests.

Seems nothing is different across the globe, there's always reports of a few dickwad jumpers pulling shit just as you describe at the local motels in Twin.

the Grand Hotel, never have I experienced such hospitality with no expectation of reward. Please show the utmost respect for the most unselfish kindness, respect and leave the place better than you found it, and give them business and politeness, say thank you. and clean up after yourself. show them that we are decent people. We should be treated so warmly wherever we go, Unbelievable?

Show the people at the Grand Hotel some love! Amazing people, very kind to BASE Jumpers. The only place I'm willing to spend money on whisky in Norway!
