I'm looking for some good BASE trip ideas for the late October/early November. I am in a line of work where I get 10 days off a month and and a plane ticket anywhere I want to go but I have to do some advanced planning to get all the logistics sorted out for my company before hand. Right now I have the rest of the summer pretty well booked up with LB, KL, and moab but i am at a bit of a loss for what to do on my oct/nov days off and would like to go somewhere a bit off the beaten path. I was thinking of doing SA but after talking with one of the locals the winds sound a bit iffy around that time.

I am stoked on any ideas you might have on a bit more obscure areas with good jumping weather around that time.

Anywhere in the world is fine, travel isn't really an issue.

No, luckily I have worked my way far enough up in drilling to be able to stay away from that vile cesspool of rakes, scoundrals, and villains. I work on deep hole directional rigs, yesterday Alaska, today Arizona, tomorrow who knows?
